Aims and Objectives of Playbase Nursery
To achieve the "learning goals" for pre-school children, as stated within the government schedule for pre-school and nursery education, we will :
- Create opportunities for play
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children can feel happy and secure
- Encourage the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of children
- Encourage positive attitudes to self and to others and develop confidence and self-esteem
- Provide opportunities to stimulate interest and imagination
- Encourage children to explore the world
- Extend childrens' abilities to communicate ideas and feelings in a variety of ways
- Promote the welfare of children
Here at Playbase every child matters and we strive to meet the needs of individual children and their families. We follow the governments, "Early Years Foundation Stage" (EYFS) curriculum.
